Eligibility:
  1. Min SPM qualification
  2. Ready for employment at MSC status companies upon completion of training

  5. Applicants who have joined MSC Malaysia Job Camp in the recent past 5 years, or have joined MSC Malaysia Undergraduate Skills Programme in the recent past 12 months are not eligible to join this programme

OVERVIEW

Multimedia Development Corporation (MDeC), the guardian of MSC Malaysia via its K-Workers Development Initiatives (KDI) is driving the provision of last mile skills training to potential knowledge workers (K-workers) for the ICT industry.

The MSC Malaysia Job Camp, is a KDI programme, which provides fresh graduates and  unemployed K-workers the necessary training to fill immediate vacancies in MSC Malaysia Status companies.

iM foremost sdn bhd via its skill training division CG Skill has been entasked to provide skill training specific to the creative multimedia industry's needs with concentration and focus of mastery of skill set for 3D Animation, Games and Pre-Production using Autodesk Maya, Autodesk 3ds Max, Toonboom Animate and Adobe Creative Suite. This is based upon its recent past track record of having successfully trained over 300 trainees for job placements.

Our past trainees are now working in various production studios in Malaysia as well as being involved in overseas project, ranging from animation to architectural/interior visualization. And there are those as well who have embarked on to become freelancers/technopreneurs.

iM foremost sdn bhd is an Autodesk Authorized Training Centre as well as Class A training provider registered with the Human Resources Development Fund.




Training Programme:
3D PRODUCTION & POST PRODUCTION (3D ANIMATION)

The 3D animation in the entertainment industry is a very fast growing and requires a growing pool of equally skilled animators. This training programme will ensure your understanding and mastering the techniques by hands-on practical while achieving fundamental knowledge in animation principles.

Training Programme:
GAMES ART / VISUALIZATION FOR INTERIOR/ARCHITECTURAL

The game industry is gaining more and more recognition by governments, contributing towards increasing amount of GDP. The industry is so enormous that it encompasses dozens of job disciplines and employs thousands of people worldwide. By the year 2012, it is expected that as many as 600,000 established online game community developers will exist.

Apart from crafting to life your imaginations, the Games Art programme also opens up opportunities for you to adapt the basic skill and knowledge into animation as well as product design and architectural/interior visualization through 3D modeling using Autodesk 3ds Max.

In the past, we have had trainees whereby even in the midst of completing their final project, they already have some contracted freelance jobs for architectural and interior visualization -- Earning from freelance jobs even before graduating from our intensive skill training programme! Some of our successful trainees ended up in companies like Codemasters (www.codemasters.com), Kolej Yayasan Sabah (www.kys.edu.my), Landart Design (www.landart.com.my), Soulbiz Entertainment (www.soulbizent.com) and Emerging Meridian (www.emergingmeridian.com).



Training Programme:
ANIMATION - PRE-PRODUCTION / 2D ANIMATION

Creativity has no limits. If you’re a person who likes your imagination to run beyond reality then this is where you belong to. Pre-production is the process of preparing all the elements involved in a film, play, or other performance. This programme will lead you to design, plan and visualise an animation into the production industry. It’s essential for the students to understand the pre-production pipeline as they are the key to the doorway towards any creative industry. Within this training programme you shall also learn the skill of storytelling, scripting and storyboarding.

In addition, CG Skill shall be providing bonus training in 2D Animation using Toonboom Animate, the professional animation software for creating digital content on all media and platforms.

Under a separate MSC Malaysia Undergraduate Skills Programme, CG Skill has both successfully and in the pipeline of training more than 100 students in various institutions of higher learnings the likes of Kolej Universiti Islam Antarabangsa Selangor (www.kuis.edu.my), International Islamic University Malaysia (www.iium.edu.my), Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia (www.usim.edu.my) and International Islamic College (www.iic.edu.my).

In the recent, our past trainees ended up in companies the likes of Big Beak (www.bigbeakpictures.com), E-motion (www.e-motion.com.my) and GenSeq.
